Capital Gains Empty Capital Gains

I am not sure if Capital gains is the tax we will pay after the revalue and cash in. I do know you can put off Capital gains with real estate. Invest in real estate and you do not pay until you sell it. My Tax planner told me this and I trust him he has done it for 30 years.
The 60/40 split on capital gains only apply if you purchased through a forex type site and does not apply to physical currency. I will add more info on this as I get it.
